Last year, Rep. Summer Lee overcame more than $4 million in attack ads and mailers from the anti-Palestinian group AIPAC and its network of PACs.
She became the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in Congress. And in her first term, she’s been courageously leading calls for a ceasefire.
Summer has been by my side, holding the Israeli and U.S. governments accountable for war crimes and human rights violations. She joined me in voting against HR 894, a dangerous resolution conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism that could silence and criminalize our movement.
Because Summer Lee and I are standing up for human rights for all people (including Palestinians), right-wing groups that want to continue the genocide of the Palestinian people are planning to spend at least $100 million in an attempt to defeat us in next year’s elections.
