Last year, Rep. Summer Lee overcame more than $4 million in attack ads and
mailers from the anti-Palestinian group AIPAC and its network of PACs.

She became the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in Congress.
And in her first term, she’s been courageously leading calls for a
ceasefire.

Summer has been by my side, holding the Israeli and U.S. governments
accountable for war crimes and human rights violations. She joined me in
voting against HR 894, a dangerous resolution conflating anti-Zionism with
antisemitism that could silence and criminalize our movement.

Because Summer Lee and I are standing up for human rights for all people
(including Palestinians), right-wing groups that want to continue the
genocide of the Palestinian people are planning to spend at least $100
million in an attempt to defeat us in next year’s elections.

Like me, her priorities include fully funding the replacement of all lead
water lines, and ensuring that clean air and water are treated like the
human rights they are.

Like me, she doesn’t take money from corporate PACs, and she stays true to
herself and her values to sanctify all life—without exceptions. She
continues to act with moral courage despite political risks.

Together, we’re taking on oppression in our communities and around the
world. We will keep standing up for marginalized people, including
Palestinians. But we’re up against right-wing groups that want to
undermine our democracy and kick us out of Congress.
