Dear John,

As the coronavirus crisis and media frenzy escalates, should we react like everyone else? In his USA Today op-ed, "The Power of Prayer to Deal with Coronavirus Anxiety," FRC president Tony Perkins addresses how Christians should respond amid the chaos.

1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." Last Thursday, during our monthly chapel, the FRC team gathered to do just this, interceding for you and America.

As you know, President Trump also designated this past Sunday, March 15, as a National Day of Prayer. Thousands of people from all across America lifted up our nation, asking for God's healing, protection, and guidance.

We must not cease, but continue praying for our nation's leaders, medical personnel, and families in the coming weeks. Our team is also praying blessings on you and your family. I encourage you to visit frc.org/pray to find scripture-based prayer points to use as you go before the Lord.
