Our Bolder Advocacy team is ending 2023 on a high note: We just finished the 49th and 50th state in AFJ’s free, online series of guides to what nonprofits need to know about lobbying. These guides are a vital resource for nonprofits because they translate complex rules into clear language, helping power their advocacy and stay in compliance with the law.
And as the 2024 election approaches, we’re accelerating our efforts to complete state-by-state guides for voter engagement. We’re almost halfway there already, with guides published for 22 states and we plan to complete the series well before the 2024 election season kicks into high gear. Completing this work is crucial to providing nonprofits with strategies to embolden their advocacy and represent the communities and people they serve in an election year when every vote counts.
