First Lady: And I?m First Lady Kathy Evers. Today, we?re wishing all those celebrating across our state a joyous Kwanzaa.
Governor: Each year, this week reminds us of the seven principles of Kwanzaa: unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.
First Lady: These principles help guide celebrations around the world and underscore the importance of togetherness.
Governor: May the next seven days bring you and your loved ones warmth, prosperity, and joy into the new year and beyond.
