Dear John,

As I write this, I have a picture in my mind’s eye of happy, busy families preparing for celebrations. Perhaps there is music in the background and the smells from the kitchen are irresistible. There is also a picture of someone who is alone, enjoying a sweet treat provided by a neighbor and hoping for a call from a distant loved one.

Wherever you are and whatever your experience this Christmas season, I want to wish you Merry Christmas from me and our team at Oregon Right to Life.

Together, we have the incredible responsibility of advocating for the most vulnerable around us, and it is a privilege to undertake it alongside you, John.
