On behalf of our entire team here at the USO, I wanted to share our warmest wishes to you and your family this holiday season.
This holiday season marks the end of another challenging year for those who serve. Many of our brave heroes were deployed to the Middle East, where they have recently faced attacks from Iranian-backed militia groups amid the ongoing conflict in the region. Others were sent on difficult deployments to Eastern Europe. Still more urgently responded to save lives and help communities recover from devastating natural disasters all over the world — from Hawaii and Florida to Sicily and Guam.
But no matter what our service members faced this year, the USO was able to be by their side every step of the way, thanks to military supporters like you.
Your support and recognition are some of the best gifts that service members on active duty can receive, especially during the holidays, when they sacrifice precious time away from their families so that we can safely spend time with ours.
And as I write this, your support continues to help us provide essential supplies, USO Holiday Care Packages and calls home while also helping us prepare for whatever challenges our military will face in the future.
It’s hard to find the right words to express how grateful we are to you for all you do for our service members during the holidays and all year long. I truly believe you’re helping our nation’s heroes be their best and make the world a better and safer place for all of us. For that, we could never thank you enough.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and yours,
The Hon. J.D. Crouch II
CEO & President, USO
