This holiday season, we have a moment to take a breath and connect with family and friends. For some, that will include political debates. For others, it will include tuning out all together for a moment.

But for all of us, it is the prelude to a very, very important 2024. We are approaching an election year, and it’s not hyperbolic at all to say the outcome of so many things are in the balance: democracy, equality, abortion access, and the global climate crisis to name a few.

In 2024, we will likely face Donald Trump, the presidential candidate, again. We are coming off from one of the most unproductive Congresses in history, thanks to GOP "leadership." We continue to fight for abortion rights and against GOP attacks on our voting rights, public education, and human rights.

It’s time for us to vote for elected officials who will fight for our communities, for our freedoms, and for our democracy. We can and must defeat Trump, win a Democratic majority in the U.S. House and Senate, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot in state and local elections in 2024.

After the holidays, we will come out rested and ready for the election! Join us and pledge to fight in 2024–we must defeat the GOP across the board, up and down the ballot.
