Happy Holidays, everybody!

I wanted to take a quick moment before the holiday weekend to send my wishes for a joyous season to you and your loved ones.

I know that this year hasn’t always been easy. We’ve fought long, hard battles, and we’ve faced a number of challenges in our communities. But despite the difficult moments this year has brought, we’ve done incredible things like expanding women’s healthcare access and restoring our universal breakfast program.

As we enter this season of gratitude, my wish is that each of you reflect on your strength — and your resilience — in the face of tough fights.

There will undoubtedly be challenges in the new year. But as we spend time with the ones we hold dear this holiday season, please remember that when we stand united in the fight for what is right, we can and we will prevail.
