We’ve got just 7 days until we hit our End-of-Year Fundraising Deadline

In Washington, our teams are pressing for further action on hostage
safety, humanitarian aid, civilian protection, settler violence, campus
antisemitism and other urgent issues. 

For the sake of defeating Hamas and ensuring Israel’s long-term security –
and protecting hostages and Palestinian civilians – we're urging President
Biden to use all US leverage to press for an immediate, significant change
of course in Gaza, and an urgent end to massive aerial bombardments. 

In communities across the country, we’re adding nuance, empathy and
humanity to debates riven by partisanship and anger. We’re making clear
that being pro-Israel is not the same as being pro-Netanyahu, and that we
must take the unfathomably devastating impact of this war seriously.

Friends, we know that if we fail to hold this ground, extreme
voices are all too ready to fill the void.

Our pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy movement faces an incredibly
difficult moment. We fear for the safety of hostages, for Israelis serving
in Gaza, for thousands of Palestinian families caught in the crossfire,
and for an uncertain future.

While we do not know what next year will bring – we do know that our
collective voice will be more indispensable than ever. That we must be
guided by reason, empathy and sound judgment.
