I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying this very joyous season! I wanted to dedicate my last formal newsletter of the year to offer you some of my reflections at the end of this legislative year.
This time of year has a very special meaning for me as your Congresswoman. Ever since I arrived in Washington more than three years ago, I am constantly reminded of the deep honor I feel to represent you, my constituents, in Congress.
During the holiday season, Miami turns inward and celebrates the traditions that make it so unique. I love Miami, its communities, and its lively culture. You are the reason I dedicated more than 35 years to journalism, and almost 4 years to public service. All of your messages, thoughts, and concerns live deeply within me, and truly guide every decision I take as I represent District 27, all of us, in the People's House.
