Remember in 2018 when rampant voter suppression and election fraud by a GOP House campaign resulted in the call for a special election in North Carolina's 9th district? Well, that special election is just a month away, and Democrat Dan McCready is neck and neck with his new Republican opponent in the polls.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and solar energy entrepreneur, Dan ran an honest campaign last year that was based on the desire to put country before party and make healthcare more affordable for the people of North Carolina. His Republican opponent at the time stooped to corruption and carrying out an absentee ballot scam in an attempt to secure the win -- thankfully, he was caught, and the voters have a chance to truly make their voices heard.
