John,
The Colorado Supreme Court has ruled that Donald Trump is ineligible to be on the 2024 Presidential primary ballot.
Because Donald Trump incited an insurrection, the Colorado court ruled that he is barred by the 14th Amendment from holding federal public office.
But that’s not the end of the story, not by a long shot. Now the U.S. Supreme Court will weigh in. And John, we’re really worried. One third of the current Supreme Court was appointed by Donald Trump. And the most conservative member of the Court has a wife who was involved in promoting Trump’s Big Lie and stoking an insurrection.

At the very least, Clarence Thomas should recuse himself from ruling on any case involving Trump’s election denialism and the January 6th insurrection. But realistically, the chances of him doing the right thing and recusing himself are pretty much zero.
That’s why we need real court reform, and Hank is the leader in the U.S. House on reforming the Supreme Court. He’s introduced the bills that will expand the number of justices, institute term limits for justices, and create a code of conduct to stop the Court from further damaging its own credibility and legitimacy.
Our very democracy is at stake in the rulings the Court will be making in the near future. We all hope they do the right thing, but the only way to ensure the Supreme Court is accountable is for Congress to enact Hank’s court reform bills.
Will you contribute to Hank’s campaign so he can keep fighting to save the Supreme Court from itself and safeguard our democracy?
