I hope you and your family are holding up ok. I know it is incredibly disorienting, uncertain, and scary right now. And a lot of us feel helpless - particularly as we're stuck at home, unable to physically be with neighbors and friends who may be suffering or struggling.

But here's one, simple thing we can all do: Donate to the frontline organizations doing the hard work of protecting the most vulnerable in the face of this crisis. It doesn't have to be a lot - just a few dollars can make all the difference to the groups trying to ensure that no one goes hungry, without a roof over their head, or without access to basic health care during this global epidemic.

As most of you know, we temporarily shut down campaign activities in the midst of this crisis - that includes fundraising for ourselves online. Instead, we are going to leverage the power of this email list to help those most in need.

We've put together a list of some of the organizations - in Massachusetts and across the country - doing this incredible work. Read about them below and click DONATE to chip in where you can.

Donate to Project Bread, Pine Street Inn, and the Food Bank of Western Mass

Ensure those in Massachusetts who are homeless or in need have the food and assistance they need:

I am working to do everything I can on Capitol Hill to provide support during this crisis. But organizations like the ones above are on the front lines, delivering immediate assistance where it is most needed.

Let's show them we stand with them. Let's put the full force of this community into helping each other get through these difficult times.

I'm grateful.

More soon,

Joe
