A survivor of childhood sex trafficking and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) has won significant a victory in her lawsuit (Doe #1 et al v. MG Freesites LTD et al) against Pornhub parent company MindGeek/Aylo, when she was certified as the class representative. This is the second class-action lawsuit that has been certified against Pornhub in the United States. In today’s ruling, a judge from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama certified the following class: “All persons who were under the age of 18 when they appeared in a video or image that has been made available for viewing on any website owned or operated by Defendants anytime from February 12, 2011, through the present.” The NCOSE Law Center is part of the legal team representing Jane Doe in this lawsuit. |
