Republicans Overseas wishes you a belated Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

2024 will be a momentous election year, and we want you to be involved in shaping the future of our constitutional republic. How can you get involved?

1. Register to vote. You can register to vote or find out how to check your registration status at www.fvap.gov.  Email us at [email protected] if you need any help. Overseas citizens are required to register in each calendar year in which they plan to vote. Not every state follows this law, so please register and/or check your registration status after January 1, 2024. 
2. Support a candidate.  We need to win as many House and Senate seats as we can in addition to taking back the White House. You can support candidates financially, but you may also be able to help by making phone calls via the internet to potential voters. Contact your candidate's campaign and find out how to help. 
3. Spread the word via social media. The traditional news media is not our friend, and they prop up the gaslighting and lies coming from the current occupants of the White House. There is no need to be aggressive or confrontational, but sharing the truth in an age of lies is a brave act. Help inform your family and friends about key issues facing our nation and overseas Americans.

While we welcome all efforts to lessen the taxation and regulatory burdens placed on overseas Americans, we strongly believe that the only real solution is to move away from citizenship-based taxation and to residence-based taxation. 

If you are keeping up with the political news out of the US, you already know about the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to prevent President Trump from being placed on the primary ballot. We will see more of these efforts as Democrats seek to subvert the election process and rile up their base as they paint Republicans as 'insurrectionists' and 'enemies of democracy'. Take heart and get involved in the 2024 election process. We need you!
