John — Did you see this message from our co-founder and President, Quentin James?
The 2024 election will be a critical moment in our nation’s history — and we need to seize the moment and win. That’s why we set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 by Dec. 31 at midnight — but we’re already falling behind.
Can we count on you to step up and make a contribution of $10 or more today to help us make up ground and crush our year end goal?

—Begin forwarded message from Quentin James—
John,
I wanted to reach out to talk about 2024. This next election cycle is a critical test of our collective strength. Winning in 2024 means electing a Black woman to the US Senate, beating far-right extremists like Ted Cruz and Ron DeSantis, and uplifting Black Democrats up and down the ballot.
Losing in 2024 to a fascist like Donald Trump would spell disaster — and quite literally an end to democracy as we know it.
That’s why I’m reaching out now to talk about our end-of-year push. We’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $50,000 by December 31 at midnight — and it’s going to take all of our grassroots supporters stepping up and chipping in to get there. Can I count on you to make a contribution of $10? We’re already falling behind on our goal and we can’t afford to come up short with so much at stake >>
When you invest in The Collective PAC, your dollars go straight to work uplifting the next generation of Black Democratic elected officials and voters. Some of the money we raise goes towards registering voters, providing free rideshares to and from polling locations, and contacting voters. The rest goes straight to our Democratic candidates.
If we fall short of this goal, we can’t register as many voters, and our candidates lose out on the resources they need to compete. In an election as competitive as 2024, and with the stakes this high, hitting our $50,000 goal could be the difference between winning the majority and losing to a fascist like Donald Trump.
We have a choice to make: Do we fight as hard as humanly possible to elect champions like Barbara Lee, Colin Allred, Angela Alsobrooks, and Lisa Blunt Rochester? Or do we roll over to extremist Republicans who have called us vermin and are gutting voting rights across the country?
I’m in this fight to win it, John. That’s why I’m asking: Will you make a contribution of $10 or more to crush our 2023 goal and unleash the full power of our grassroots army in 2024? Victory or defeat is in your hands.

It’s your investment in our work that allows us to be successful. In the last three years, you’ve helped us provide over 100,000 free rideshares to and from the polls, register over 200,000 voters, and make nearly 5 million voter contact attempts.
That translates into success ▶️ we’ve helped elect over 350 Black candidates to local, state and federal office.
Thanks, team. As always, I couldn’t be more grateful for your endless commitment to building Black political power.
