Hi there, it’s Kevin with the DLGA —

I’m going to share some of my favorite moments from the DLGA this year, but I want you to know that none of this would have been possible without your support. Will you help us make 2024 an even bigger year by contributing $ now? We need to start preparations now if we want to get ahead.

This year was a rollercoaster. Thanks to your support, we not only grew as an organization, we reached new heights and, of course, got Democratic LGs elected! Now, we have one week before 2024 starts, meaning we still have a chance to make 2023 even better while preparing for the new year.

🗓️ In September, we teamed up with David Hogg, Leaders we Deserve, and March for Our Lives to spread awareness on the gun violence epidemic in our county. Their incredible work inspired us going into October, when we hosted a Gun Violence Policy Summit to share experiences with gun violence and discuss solutions.

🗓️In November, the DLGA helped Andy Beshear and Jacqueline Coleman beat Trump-endorsed Republicans and hold the Governor’s office in Kentucky.

🗓️In December, Peggy Flanagan was chosen to chair the DLGA, making her the first Native American to chair a national party organization.

🗓️Now, we’re coming up on January, and we’re ready for another year of exciting victories! With a critical election year coming up, 2024 is our year to get more Democratic LGs elected.
