Africa & Europe
Praise God for a fourth conviction in IJM’s first trafficking case in Europe. The team has been supporting the victim in this case since 2019, and courts have already found three other traffickers guilty. We are grateful for this final conviction of the traffickers involved in this case, and we are thanking God for all of the incredible partners involved in ensuring accountability.
Latin America
Pray for IJM Peru as the office holds special planning sessions with partners. During the sessions, we will train our partners in key areas that will enable them to expand protection to women and children from the communities where our partners already work. Please pray for successful planning and for mutual learning that strengthens our partnership and enables us to reach more people living in vulnerability to violence.
South Asia
Pray for our success as we apply for several large grants to support our work in South Asia. We have identified compelling projects across the region that will bring rescue and restoration to thousands of people this year. Pray that we can craft compelling proposals and win favor with these influential grant organizations. Pray for all of IJM’s success in winning grants so that we can protect millions of people from violence around the world.
Asia Pacific
Please pray for our staff and clients as they spend Christmas with their loved ones and close out the year. As our staff reflects on all this year held, pray for joy, comfort and rest. We can praise God for Christmas celebrations happening for our clients at shelters in the Philippines. Please pray that they feel loved and for peace as this might be their first Christmas away from home.
