This week our people-powered movement took a major leap on our journey to bring truth, justice, and love to all corners of our nation. This week we had the blessed honor to spend the day in Dearborn, Michigan where we were afforded numerous opportunities to meet with community leaders, grassroots organizers, and social justice champions that embody the spirit of this campaign.
<[link removed]>We met with representatives from over 30 organizations and formations representing a full gambit of the intersectional initiatives including environmental justice, gender justice, increasing visibility for our precious Asian siblings, and a fantastic collection of young folk who plan on ensuring that their voices are heard and their votes have a major impact on next year’s election. We learned so much from all of the conversations we took part in, and that was just the beginning of a day that will be seen as one that catapulted this campaign to a new level.
The day culminated with the Gaza Endures event sponsored by over 40 local organizations and organized by our family at the Michigan Task Force for Palestine. Oh my siblings, it was a sight to see and bear witness to precious Muslims, Jews, and Christians of all ages coming together to declare with one voice that we must have a ceasefire and an end to the brutal Israeli war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide that has taken far too many precious Palestinian lives including nearly 8,000 children. We demonstrated what a movement of Love Warriors can and will look like when we win this election next year.

We need to hit the ground running in 2024 and show the people of our nation and the world that they don’t have to choose between a derelict duopoly that turns blind eyes to the suffering of Palestinians and so many abroad, just as they turn blind eyes to so many suffering here at home.
The pundits know it, the Democratic Party knows it, and so many others can see this campaign is in it to win it - we are capturing imaginations of people who desire a polity rooted in truth, justice and love.
