The Colorado Supreme Court ruled this week to remove President Donald Trump from the ballot in Colorado for the 2024 presidential election. CPAC released a statement exposing this move for what it is: disenfranchisement. In the statement, CPAC Chairman Matt Schlapp said, "This is a nakedly political move to kneecap the GOP frontrunner. Disenfranchising millions of Trump voters sets a dangerous precedent that undermines the rule of law and brings us closer to a national divorce." 

CPAC Foundation's Center for Combating Human Trafficking participated in a conference this past week in Texas seeking to find solutions to end human trafficking. The conference was hosted by Borders, Trade, and Immigration Institute and the Center for Immigration Studies and brought leaders together with members of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's office to discuss legislation that approaches the issue of human trafficking holistically. The document serves as a guide for conservative law enforcement officials to uphold the integrity of the justice system by enumerating the core principles of the conservative approach to criminal justice. The Conservative Principles of Prosecution was formed with the expertise of experienced prosecutors and law enforcement leaders on the Nolan Center for Justice's Law Enforcement and Advisory Council led by former U.S. Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker.
