This is just a quick note to thank you for being part of the IRC's global community supporting refugees and displaced children and families.

You've opened your heart to refugees and people in crisis worldwide. You've responded to conflicts, emergencies and crises with compassion. Your generous contributions as an IRC supporter have helped families survive and recover from tragedy.

To show you an example of your impact, we're sharing some photos from a recent holiday event in Katowice, Poland – for families displaced by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. I hope you can take a minute to scroll through below. 🎅💛

The kids decorated cookies, crafted ornaments and placed them on a tree and sang carols. There was even a visit from Santa Claus, who gave every child a present to open.

But the best gift was the chance for these kids to play, create and enjoy the magic of the holidays — much like they would have done before their lives were upended by conflict in Ukraine.
