There are just a few days left to submit your official comment to help us stop the Trump administration from implementing a rule that would embolden health care providers to discriminate against their patients, particularly pregnant people, LGBTQI folks, and non-English speakers.
Dear Team,
The Trump administration is working overtime to roll back the Health Care Rights Law, a provision of the ACA that protects against sex discrimination in health care. Women, LGBTQI folks, and people with limited English proficiency already face discrimination in health care. Instead of working to protect these communities, this rule would make the situation worse.
The good news is, this rule isn't final—yet. We still have five days until the public comment period closes, and the administration is legally required to read and meaningfully respond to ALL comments from the public. The more comments we submit opposing the proposed rule, the more likely the administration is to change its position.
More than 11,000 Center supporters have already spoken out against this harmful rule. Will you join them?
Please take two minutes to submit an official comment before the deadline. We need your help to stop this discriminatory rule.
This administration thinks that some people are less worthy of equal rights protections than others. Let's prove them wrong.
Onward,
Center for Reproductive Rights
