Team,
The House worked until after midnight on Saturday to pass the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to take care of our communities during this pandemic — and Mitch McConnell sent home the Senate for a long weekend.
While Mitch was nowhere to be found, Pramila pushed to make sure free coronavirus testing was included in the final bill. House Democrats fought tirelessly to pass paid sick leave, stronger unemployment protections, and $1 billion in food assistance — the bill isn’t perfect, but Pramila is fighting to make sure Congress passes more legislation to support working people and families.
Millions of lives are at risk and now is not the time to be dragging our feet. Will you take action by signing our petition calling on Mitch McConnell to bring the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to a vote immediately?
There’s no time to waste when it comes to making sure testing is available at no cost and no American goes without the resources they need during this global crisis. Mitch McConnell is still playing partisan games, and Americans are suffering as a result.
Sign our petition — tell Mitch McConnell to bring the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to a vote immediately!
Thank you for stepping up during this critical time.
