In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, Ohio’s governor just announced they are working to postpone the election until June to prevent people from spreading the virus at the polls, but it is still unclear it will happen. Illinois is still running full-steam ahead with tomorrow’s primary.
We have 5 down-to-earth, real-deal candidates running in Illinois and Ohio who were already facing unique challenges because they are running small-dollar campaigns against three powerful corporate Democrats. Each of them has faced poverty and hardship and understands what it’s like to work and struggle.
