Dear Friends,
I begin with this beautiful Hadith:
One day Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) noticed a Bedouin leaving his camel without tying it. He asked the Bedouin, “Why don’t you tie down your camel?” The Bedouin answered, “I put my trust in God.” The Prophet then said, “Tie your camel first, then put your trust in God.” |

This is an unprecedented time for our communities and the whole world. The more prepared and precautionary measures we take, the better the chances we have at curbing this pandemic.
For our part, the MCN team will be working remotely and will be available to all our program partners and students via email and calls. Wherever we can, we will conduct our scheduled workshops online. Regrettably, we will be canceling our upcoming, Muslim Women's Day Breakfast on March 27th, 2020. Other large-scale events for the next month will be canceled.
There are two critical action items though that we need to hear from you about:
1. Take Your Census
2. Fill out the Hate Crimes Survey.
We hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy during this time. Below are a few citywide announcements for your information.
Do not hesitate to get in touch with us for any questions or concerns. Our email address is: [email protected] and phone number, (646) 661-5422.
With Gratitude,
