TWO MAJOR RAILWAY CROSSINGS AT OUR SOUTHERN BORDER REOPEN FOR AGRICULTURAL TRADE After calling on President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas to reopen two crucial railway crossings that facilitate agricultural trade between the U.S. and Mexico, these routes were reopened today. Instead of closing trade routes, President Biden should close the border. We must secure our border to keep our families and communities safe. Southern border hit by record number of migrant... That includes caring for police K9s – which assist officers in seizing drugs, tracking missing people, and detaining criminals – during their service and after their retirement. According to some estimates, approximately 40% of the lifetime veterinary expenses for police dogs occur in the last two years of their lives, meaning the handler could expect $5,000 or more in veterinary bills in the final years of a police dog’s life.
