John —
Hi! 👋🏽 I’m State Senator Emily Randall, and I'm running for the newly open seat in Washington's 6th Congressional District.
Here’s the situation: There hasn’t been a wide-open House race here in nearly 50 years. Republicans have been gaining in this area, and I already have an anti-abortion GOP opponent. If districts like Washington’s 6th flip red, our chances of taking back the House will plummet.
But If I win this race, I'll be the first LGBTQ+ member of Congress from Washington state🏳️🌈 — and I'll bring the voices of working-class families like mine to D.C.
Please watch our video to learn more about the campaign we’re building, and chip in to fuel our grassroots-funded, people-powered movement in Washington’s 6th District →
I was raised by two proud union members in Port Orchard. My younger sister had complex disabilities, and without Medicaid expansion, my family wouldn’t have been able to pay for the medical care she needed to survive. Even with that support, we struggled to make ends meet.
Too often, the voices of working-class people like my parents and neighbors aren’t heard in the halls of power. We need leaders who know what it’s like to navigate our healthcare system, apply for student loans, and struggle with the high costs of housing, gas, and groceries.
And now more than ever, we cannot afford another right-wing politician hellbent on taking away our freedoms, bodily autonomy, and civil rights.
I might not have a Rolodex full of millionaires, but I have grassroots supporters like you! Can you chip in $6 or any amount before the critical end-of-year fundraising deadline so we can bring the voices of working people to Congress?
