We hope you have had a great week! After Congress concluded legislative business for 2023 last week, Congressman Kim enjoyed being home in Jersey to meet with neighbors, host informative events, talk about the work ahead, and more.

Before we get into the good stuff from this past week, we want to look ahead to the last couple weeks of December too. We wish everyone a very happy holidays, and hope you and your loved ones enjoy ringing in the New Year. Our office looks forward to continuing to serve you in 2024!

Our End of Year Report is Here!

It’s hard to believe 2023 is almost over. We are proud of the work we accomplished this year and ready to continue working on your behalf in 2024. This week, we released a report covering a lot of what we worked on this year.

From opening offices early this year in Monmouth and Mercer counties, to hosting twelve town halls all across the district, Congressman Kim is proud to serve you. He worked hard in 2023 to lower everyday costs, defend healthcare rights, deliver for our veterans, and focus on the needs of our servicemembers and their families. There was a lot to cover. Congressman Kim Hosts a Food and Housing Fair in Burlington City!

Thank you to everyone who made our Food and Housing Resource Fair yesterday in Burlington City possible. We are committed to connecting you to helpful local resources in New Jersey and look forward to more events like this in 2024 to connect local assistance directly with neighbors.

Community Conversation with Medford Leas

On Wednesday, Congressman Kim visited the Medford Leas retirement community for a thoughtful conversation and to answer some questions about what’s on their mind. He appreciated the chance to speak about combating hate against the Asian American community and the importance of representation to uplifting diverse voices, communities, and lives.

A Festive Pasko Celebration!

Last weekend, Congressman Kim celebrated the holidays at a Pasko festival at American Dream Mall. It was a wonderful way to not only celebrate the holidays together but also our local Filipino community!

Last but not least…A belated - Happy Birthday New Jersey!

We couldn’t recap the week without another shout out to our beloved state, the third and best state in our country. On Monday, we helped celebrate New Jersey’s 236th birthday! We are honored to help serve our incredible state and look forward to all the years to come.

UPCOMING: Social Media for Nonprofits Webinar

On January 17th at 1 PM, our office is hosting a webinar on expanding your audience and impact on social media. The conversation will cover how to use social media as a tool to reach donors, volunteers, and clients, and will feature Anysa Holder, Chief Advancement Officer for Easterseals New Jersey and the executive lead over advocacy, marketing, internal communications, customer support, and fundraising.
