Isaiah 9:6 says: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
On Christmas, we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and the hope his birth brings to the world. May we always remember the true meaning of the season as we spend time with loved ones and friends.
From turmoil in the Middle East and Eastern Europe to economic hardship and illness at home, Jesus remains our living hope through it all. For those of you who had a tough year, I encourage you to close out this year holding on to this hope and resting in the Lord’s promises for the future.
Rejoice with me this Christmas in the birth of Jesus and the promise of what is to come.
From the Mullin family to yours, Merry Christmas.
