Good morning California Young Democrats,

I wish you a very restful and enjoyable holiday weekend! I write this morning to share with you the recently uploaded video of my message to California Democrats at our Convention last month, and to ask you and your fellow Young Democrats club members to join CYD in January for our campaign precinct walks ([link removed]) in support of amazing candidates we endorsed!

Please make plans, RSVP now, and join fellow CYD members at one or more of our planned campaign actions ([link removed]) , which include:
* Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 9:30am in Rancho Cucamonga: DeJonaé Shaw for Assembly Campaign Kick-off
* Sunday, January 14, 2024, at 1pm in Pasadena: Dr. Phlunté Riddle for Assembly Campaign Kick-off
* Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 11am in Sacramento: Paula Villescaz for Assembly CYD Precinct Walk

This is just the first of many political actions to be organized in support of these and other CYD endorsed candidates ([link removed]) in advance of the March 5, 2024, Primary election. Please RSVP NOW ([link removed]) and join us at one or more of these upcoming, important precinct walks to help elect great Democrats.

During the CADEM Convention last month, I was proud to deliver CYD’s report and share that we are organizing to defeat MAGA extremism and elect Democrats in 2024. Watch my message to California Democrats:

We must continue to build and organize our Young Democrats chapters and work together to elect our endorsed Democrats ([link removed]) . Together, we have the power to make sure we defeat MAGA extremism, so we can solve the critical issues we face.

Please do not forget that all CYD chapters and most caucuses must submit required chartering information and dues ([link removed]) before the December 31, 2023, deadline! This chartering information ([link removed]) and deadline is required for all existing and new CYD, CCD and CAHSD chapters.

Next week, on Thursday, December 28th at 7PM, CYD Vice President of Membership Codi Vierra will host a Chartering Workshop ([link removed]) to offer assistance to any individuals needing help with the chartering process. RSVP now ([link removed]) to join the CYD Chartering Workshop next week.

Existing and new CYD chapters and many of our caucuses must submit all required chartering information ([link removed]) to CYD before December 31, 2023 at 11:59pm per CYD Bylaws ([link removed]) .

Everything you need to know to charter with CYD is on our website ([link removed]) , and if you need assistance, please reach out to your CYD Regional Director ([link removed]) .

CYD recently finished ratifying hundreds of endorsements for Democrats ([link removed]) and we are going to be holding another internet vote of the CYD State Leadership Committee (SLC) starting January 2, 2024, at 9am, until January 9, 2024, at 11:59pm, to consider additional endorsements.
