As folks get ready for the holidays and unplug to spend time with their families and friends, our team is looking ahead to make sure we don’t lose track of our goal: get rid of the national embarrassment that is Jim Jordan once and for all.
The Holidays are a scary time for grassroots campaigns like us because during the Christmas and New Year holiday week people are rightfully on vacation and spending time with their families and are not looking at fundraising emails (how we raise the small dollar donations that makeup the backbone of our campaign).
Once we start the new year, we will have a lot to do—and will need to do it quickly: we will start scaling up, hiring more staff to knock doors and organize every motivated swing voter who will help us defeat Jordan. And we’ll need to ramp up our efforts to get the word out about Tamie.
We cannot afford to lose a single day of fundraising and we need to compensate for the fundraising slow down next week by pushing hard today.
