Hi, John. How are you doing? What a roller coaster we are on right now. I know that I personally feel underprepared to lead my team through a global pandemic. This is extreme on the job training! My high schooler is home, my husband is holding down the fort while many of his staff are working remotely, and my son and his fiancé are considering what to do about their May wedding.
Whew. If you are struggling with anxiety right now too, Liberty, our communications director, really enjoyed this article [[link removed]] and wanted me to pass it along. It was comforting for me to "attend" church with my family, even though my oldest is currently in California, thanks to live-streaming from her church.
I was also so thankful that our president called for a national day of prayer on Sunday. America has a long history of seeking God's help in a time of crisis. If I know one thing, it's that we are stronger than our circumstances. Humans have accomplished incredible things when we band together towards a common goal.
As a faithful, invaluable part of Oregon Right to Life, I hope you know how special you are to me and my team. Please stay well and let us know if there is anything we can help you with.
Because we all deserve advocates,
Lois Anderson
