John,

I have some exciting news to share with you:

I’m proud to announce that I received EMILY’s List’s endorsement for Governor of Virginia.

The Washington Post: EMILY's List backs Spanberger for Governor of Virginia

As a lawmaker, I’ve seen the dangerous legislation that states across the South and throughout the country have passed to restrict women’s rights in the wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin has previously said he would “happily and gleefully” sign any anti-choice bill that got to his desk, but Virginians deserve a Governor who will focus on protecting women’s rights and ensuring that a woman’s healthcare decisions remain between her and her doctor. Tragically, we are seeing women suffer in states across the country where that right isn’t protected.

EMILY’s List is doing important work to make sure that pro-choice women up and down the ballot are elected throughout the country, and I am excited they are supporting my race here in Virginia — where we’ve never elected a woman as Governor, at least not yet!

It is a long road to the 2025 Governor’s election, but will you join me now and support my campaign with a contribution? I am working to build a strong foundation of support, and I need your help.
