Greg’s top priority in Congress is delivering results for the people of Southwest Ohio. So as 2023 comes to a close, we wanted to highlight just some of what Greg has accomplished during his first year in Congress.
DELIVERING FOR SOUTHWEST OHIO’S CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
In July, Greg secured over $14 million in federal funding for local projects. These projects included:
Over $900,000 to replace lead water pipes in Southwest Ohio to keep families safe,
Over $800,000 to renovate the City of Lebanon’s community center for the benefit of the whole community,
$1,000,000 to improve bus stops and critical transit infrastructure to help people get to work, the grocery store, doctor’s appointments, and more,
And much more!
REACHING ACROSS THE AISLE TO GET RESULTS FOR OH-01
Greg was proud to introduce four bipartisan bills this year, including the Child Care Small Business Insight and Improvement Act of 2023, which would increase support for small business child care providers.
He also introduced the bipartisan Medicare PBM Accountability Act, which would help lower the cost of prescription drugs for seniors on Medicare.
In September, Greg started the bipartisan What Works Caucus, which aims to bring together Democratic and Republican lawmakers to make data-driven decisions about what federal programs best serve Americans.
PUTTING OUR COMMUNITY FIRST
Greg’s top priority is always serving people, not playing politics. That’s why, over the past year, Greg and his team hosted 14 town halls and resolved over 1,300+ constituent cases.
By advocating for Southwest Ohio in Congress, Greg has been able to return over $11 million of federal dollars back to taxpayers and small businesses.
