To Our Loyal and Valued Supporter:

As you can imagine, we feel a tremendous responsibility to continue to monitor and respond to the rapidly evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. And of course, our absolute top priority is the health and well being of you- our supporter- and our participants, our board, and volunteers across the Emerge New Mexico network. 

After much deliberation and careful consideration, we have decided to postpone our Annual Kickoff Reception 2020, originally scheduled  for March 27, 2020 at the Home of Lisa Curtis in Albuquerque. 

Out of an abundance of caution, we are also postponing the 2020 cohort signature candidate training program to respect our community with concerns about the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). This difficult decision was made by our team and board members, based on what is best for our organization and supporters at this time. 

We will follow up in the next weeks to provide more information as we continue to carefully read and understand the emerging guidance, and make the necessary and appropriate decisions for the safety of all. 

Our hearts go out to those who have been impacted by this COVID-19 global pandemic. We are grateful for our sponsors, host committee members, and those who have supported us and purchased tickets. Please know that your sponsorship tickets will be applied to the new event date. Additionally, if you would still like to purchase a ticket or sponsorship to support our current Emerge New Mexico, Class of 2020 program you can still.

Finally, leaders matter. Now more than ever its important that we have great leaders at the decision making tables. Your support of this movement is critical to  changing the face of politics in New Mexico. Together, we must continue with our mission and support more democratic women to run for office- and win.
