Happy Friday and Merry (almost) Christmas! I’m back home in South Carolina for the holidays.
This year, I feel so fortunate to be surrounded by family, with the exception of my dad, who is deployed overseas. We miss him dearly, it won't be the same without him or his legendary holiday cooking! But we couldn’t be more proud of him and ALL of the service men and women who won’t be home for Christmas this year.
As you probably can tell by now, our family is just like many of yours. We have our traditions– the day after Thanksgiving we always decorate the tree. For Christmas in our house, it’s all about slowing down and spending time together. We have family over, open presents, and, of course, watch the Polar Express (a must!).
Friend, Christmas is about so much more than just gifts and decorations, though. It's about giving back, showing gratitude, and remembering what truly matters. We're incredibly thankful for each and every one of you, whether you’ve volunteered, donated to our campaign or simply read these weekly emails. It means the world to me and my entire family.
In the spirit of giving, I wanted to ask a small favor. My mom's campaign is nearing a crucial point, with the FEC end-of-year deadline approaching and the first votes starting in just a few weeks. We have to keep pushing forward, and that's where your support comes in.
My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
