Last week, I headed to Capitol Hill to testify about some of our latest findings from here at Capital Research Center.

This time I addressed an Oversight Subcommittee hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee -- the people in charge of overseeing charitable organizations and the tax code.

The topic? Foreign money pouring in to influence U.S. elections. That’s something that 90+ percent of Americans want to stop.

Yet, as Capital Research Center investigations make clear, foreign billionaires like Hansjörg Wyss of Switzerland are investing many, many millions in U.S. nonprofits to get their way, and advance a far-left agenda.

The good news is that conservative leaders in Congress are determined to do something about this problem, as this hearing demonstrated. Plus, it’s such a clear, unfair abuse that we could even see bipartisan agreement on the issue.
