1. WRAL: Wake school board set to adopt new parents' law into policy books

"The board plans to amend its parental involvement policy to include elements of the new law. The law deals with a number of culture-war issues related to gender identity and sexual orientation. It requires schools to notify parents if their children ask to go by different names or pronouns. . . . The bill also includes several more pages of requirements that schools across North Carolina have spent months asking attorneys and state officials for guidance on. The law goes into effect on the first day of school in January. The Wake school board approved some other policies to implement parts of the law earlier this fall."

2. SURVEY: In 2022, pregnancy centers provided services to nearly 1 million new clients

"Charlotte Lozier Institute (CLI), the research arm of SBA Pro-Life America and America’s premier scientific institute on life issues, released the findings of a robust survey of 2,750 pregnancy centers in the United States to calculate their extraordinary services, material support and health care contributions to women and families across the country since the landmark Supreme Court Dobbs decision that took down Roe v. Wade."

"Key findings in the new report include:

- In 2022, pregnancy centers met with clients over 16 million times, both in person and virtually, with an estimated total service value of at least $358 million annually.

- Pregnancy centers provided services to almost 975,000 new clients.

- Vital services provided at no cost: pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, parenting education programs, baby diapers, wipes, formula, outfits and more."

Only 7 of those arrests were for crimes that did not have a sexual component involving a student or minor. 15 of the 64 occurred since the start of the 2023-24 school year which began in late August."

4. DAILY SIGNAL: Biden Admin’s Pronoun Police Demand Employees Deny Biology

"If your boss required you to announce publicly that 2 + 2 = 5 and act like you sincerely believed it, would you comply or be fired? Unfortunately, tens of thousands of federal employees are being put to a similar test by the Biden administration. But instead of being required to deny basic math, they’re being forced to deny basic biology under radical 'gender identity' policies. Last March 31, on International Transgender Day of Visibility, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management ordered federal agencies to prohibit the intentional use of 'incorrect' pronouns in the workplace because it could contribute to an 'unlawful hostile work environment.'”
