Team Gonzalez Update
BREAKING: Ohio officials are seeking to postpone the primary election to protect public health In light of the threat coronavirus poses to the public, Ohio's governor and secretary of state announced today they support pushing Ohio's primary election back from tomorrow, March 17, to June 2.
At the time of this email going out, this change is pending approval by an Ohio court. Assuming the change is successful, you will not be able to vote in-person at your local polling site tomorrow like you normally would. Instead, that will be pushed back to June 2 and absentee ballot voting by mail will continue up to that time.
For early-voting information and to request an absentee ballot, visit voteohio.gov.
As more information becomes available, please be sure to check with reputable news sources and public officials, and beware unconfirmed reports online.
