John, as I get ready to wind down and spend the next couple of days with family and loved ones, I just wanted to shoot you a quick note and wish you happy holidays.
Whether you’re looking forward to Christmas, you’ve put a bow on Hanukkah, or you’re just ready for a few much-needed days off work, I think this time of year is always so special. It seems like the whole world pauses to catch our breath and count our blessings.
There are going to be a lot of hard moments over the next year as we fight for the soul of our state and our nation—but when we face those tough moments, the blessings we count this month will be what keep us going. At least, they will be for me.
So I hope you’ll get to spend the next few days surrounded by loved ones, laughter, and maybe a few too many cookies. Here’s to the holiday season, and here’s to everything we’ll do together in 2024.
Wishing you warmth and joy,
Wesley Harris
