Justice Democrats

John,

A new Axios article hammers home how centrist Democrats and anti-Palestine groups like AIPAC are plotting revenge against our progressive movement in 2024, in light of our Justice Democrats candidates taking a strong anti-war stance and demanding a permanent ceasefire in Israel and Palestine.

The first step in their three-pronged strategy to maintain the status quo is to “spend heavily to defeat "Squad"-like Democrats.”

Incumbents like Summer Lee, Cori Bush, Jamaal Bowman, and Ilhan Omar already have candidates lined up to challenge them in next year’s Democratic primaries; of course, those moderate challengers are backed by groups like AIPAC and Democratic Majority for Israel PAC, who are funded by right-wing millionaires and Trump donors.

Meanwhile, AIPAC is reportedly still recruiting candidates to take on other Squad members like Rashida Tlaib to punish them for their pro-peace stance.

Like Axios reports, the Israel-Palestine conflict will clearly take “center stage” in Democratic primaries next year, and with GOP mega-donor funded groups like AIPAC preparing to spend more money than ever before to try and take down the Squad, our progressive movement faces a very real threat.

If we’re going to re-elect the Squad and continue to build our young, diverse, working-class bloc of progressives in Congress in 2024, we need to rapidly build the resources needed to take on the heavily-funded pro-war, right-wing groups NOW.

With the end of 2023 approaching in less than two weeks, will you chip in $3 or whatever you can afford today to help Justice Democrats reach our grassroots fundraising goal of $75,000 before December 31 at midnight?
