Merry Christmas 🎄





From our family to yours, Merry Christmas! There’s nothing quite like being
home for the holidays, especially when home is the great state of Tennessee.



I’ll be enjoying a long-held tradition with Kelly and Isabel, watching It’s a
Wonderful Life. I find that the message in this movie is relevant and important
every year. In addition to being a simple story about one man’s ability to
touch so many people and make a difference, it’s also a reminder to count our
blessings and hold our loved ones close. The movie is a testament to
friendship, family, and sacrifice—and I'm so grateful to live in a community
that values all those things.



As you gather with family and friends in the coming days, I pray you’ll feel
an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. May your Christmas be filled with
love, warmth, and the company of those who matter most to you!



Here’s to a beautiful end to 2023 and a promising start to the new year! I
know 2024 will be bright.

I had the privilege of speaking last weekend at Knoxville National Cemetery,
the place where my father, a brave World War II veteran, was laid to rest.



Wreaths Across America is an incredible organization that coordinates
wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 4,225 veterans cemeteries. When a
volunteer places a wreath on a veteran's grave, they’re asked to speak that
veteran's name out loud and thank them for their service and sacrifice.



This is one of my favorite events each year, and I am thankful for any
opportunity I get to honor my father and the countless other heroes who
courageously fought for our country.



On that note, I also want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to those currently
serving who miss holidays with their families to keep us safe and free. We live
in the greatest country in the world, thanks to you!
