Dear John,

As flooding continues to devastate East Africa during this festive season, displacing over a million people, destroying thousands of households and leaving many families with limited access to essential supplies and healthcare, we have been supporting communities to protect the most vulnerable.

We have initially been transporting health workers to affected areas, so people can benefit from vital healthcare, as travel remains difficult and waterborne diseases continue to spread.

As we raise awareness of this situation, and funding so we can provide essential support at this critical time, we are reaching out to you with an urgent message from our team in Ethiopia.

Please donate today and help communities keep people safe and healthy over the festive period and beyond! [[link removed]]

The survival of the most vulnerable groups - children, pregnant women, the elderly - is threatened by the dire conditions that people are facing. Health Poverty Action is supporting affected communities with immediate relief and will continue working with these communities over the coming months and years to improve people's health and ensure that more people can prosper.

We are aiming to raise £23,000 to contribute to the emergency relief efforts. Please help us to spread the word about this appeal through your networks, so even more people can support this urgent appeal.

We have already begun working with communities in Ethiopia and Kenya at this critical time to ensure that families can access vital supplies and health workers can reach those in need.

A donation of £22 could pay for a kitchen set, so a displaced family can prepare meals. Please give whatever you can to our urgent appeal [[link removed]] today and help communities dealing with this devastating emergency over the festive season.

Season's greetings,

Siaffa Bunduka,

Supporter Engagement Manager

P.S. Whatever you give will help affected communities tackle these serious challenges now and over the coming months.
