Dear Friend, |
As this year comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to thank Earthjustice action takers for your commitment to your values and reflect on how far we’ve come together this year. With your help in contacting stakeholders, sometimes repeatedly on the same issue, we’ve been able to:
- Make crucial progress on cleaning up toxic coal ash dumps previously excluded from safeguards.
- Defend the Arctic by stopping the Peregrine oil exploratory project and repeatedly challenging the Willow project
- Protect the red knot shorebirds by safeguarding their food source from bait harvesting on their long migratory flights
- Advance protections from the largest source of lead emissions in the country’s air
- Halt a mining threat in Minnesota’s treasured Boundary Waters
- Ensure lead pipelines delivering drinking water will be replaced within 10 years
- Challenge massive oil and gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico
|
The fight is not over, but it’s important to pause and acknowledge the progress we have made together. |
Thank you for speaking up and I hope you will continue to do so. Click here to take all the actions below on one page. |
