Dear John,
In these uncertain times, as our lives and the lives of people around the world are thrown into chaos, we at AJC are following ongoing developments with concern—but also with determination.
It is at times like this when it is more important than ever to keep our supporters and friends informed about the issues that matter and what we are doing to advance our mission. And even as our offices are physically closed, AJC’s staff in every corner of the globe is continuing our important work to fight antisemitism, promote Israel’s place in the world and build bridges and join hands (metaphorically) with other communities.
Today we are pleased to launch Advocacy Anywhere, Powered by AJC, a new platform that will enable you to engage with AJC’s experts, content, and advocacy from wherever you are using cutting-edge technology.
Over the coming weeks, and for as long as this situation continues, we will be offering you carefully-curated content including exclusive video and telephone briefings featuring leading figures; audio segments on the issues of the day; hard-hitting AJC analysis; and ways you can take action from your computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Here’s a look at what’s coming up this week:
- Our first program, a discussion with Congresswoman Grace Meng (D-NY) and President of United Chinese Americans Haipei Shue on rising racism and xenophobia targeting Chinese Americans and other Asian Americans during the current crisis, will take place tomorrow, Tuesday (March 17), at 1:00 p.m. EST and is open to members of AJC’s Donor Recognition Societies. To learn more, please contact [email protected].
- On Thursday, as a public service to the entire community, we will host a conversation with several leading Israeli experts who are on the frontlines of the global fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Whether you are quarantined, working or studying from home, or simply looking for a chance to delve into the issues that matter most to you, Advocacy Anywhere is there for you to provide top-notch content and information. |
I encourage you to visit AJC.org/AdvocacyAnywhere and AJC’s Facebook and Twitter accounts regularly, as we upload new programs and fresh content to keep you informed and engaged during this challenging period.
Thank you for connecting with us and being a part of AJC’s advocacy community.
Sincerely,
Dan Elbaum
