Former State lawmaker Norma Anderson is back on the RINO Wall of Shame. She’s been betraying the Republican Party and its voters for decades, from her efforts to gut Tabor, the Taxpayer Bill of Rights, to her current push to steal our right to vote for the candidate of our choice. She is the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit to keep the leading Republican candidate, Trump, off the ballot. And while true Republicans and most of the country are appalled at the Colorado Supreme Court’s election interference banning Trump, Anderson applauds it. That is the actual threat to democracy.
But have no fear! CO GOP Chair Dave Williams is considering the bold move to abandon the Primary system altogether and opt for a caucus system if the Court’s Trump ban stands. We don’t yet know what if anything the U.S. Supreme Court will do, but Williams is fighting for our right to vote on two fronts. The CO GOP will appeal the Colorado Supreme Court decision to the nation’s highest court. And just in case, he is also setting the wheels in motion to withdraw from the Primary as a Party and convert to a pure caucus system.
And FYI, one of the partisan Colorado Supreme Court Justices who voted to keep Trump off the ballot is up for retention in November, 2024. Judge Monica Marquez. Just vote Hell No!
Leadership at the Colorado County Clerk and Recorders Association chases dollars over election integrity. Ron Hanks, Chair of the CO GOP Ballot and Election Security Committee issues a blistering response to the CCCA letter to elected officials begging for their help defending “Colorado’s hopelessly unsecure, Chinese-built electronic voting systems, which process ballots from Colorado’s notoriously bloated and inaccurate voter rolls”. Why is the CCCA more interested in defending the system than fixing it? Follow the money. Hanks says the CCCA is being used as a tool “to keep revolving-door career options in play, from bureaucrat-to-consultant-to-lobbyist”.
As we head into the holiday weekend, we are grateful for these words - “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness…”. These God-given rights will prevail so stay strong, be joyful and Merry Christmas to all!
