Christmas Day is fast approaching and with that the royal family will be winding down their engagements for the yuletide season. As is tradition, many members of the clan will make their way to Sandringham and exchange gifts on Christmas Eve. We'll of course see them at St. Mary Magdalene Church for the Christmas Day service.
However, there appears to be some breaks from tradition on the cards. For instance, Queen Camilla's children and grandchildren have reportedly been invited to the festivities at the royal estate for the first time. If that is the case, then the larger-than-normal affair might require staff to move Christmas lunch from the Sandringham dining room to the larger ballroom, as some local media have speculated.
To tease the UK broadcast of the Princess of Wales' "Together at Christmas" carol service on the 24th (see a sneak peek), which is linked to her initiative to support the early years of children, Kensington Palace released a previously unseen photograph of Catherine. The cute snap from the Middleton family archives shows the future royal back in 1983. Many have commented on just how much little Prince Louis looks like his mother when she was a toddler - take a look for yourself here.
We'll be back with a regular newsletter soon, but in the meantime we wish a very happy holidays to all those celebrating,
