Dear John,
As we begin what I hope is a happy and healthy holiday season for you and your loved ones, I just wanted to send you a simple note of thanks. I am so proud of everything we do together as NOW members and activists, both at the national level and in our individual states and communities.
We helped turn out a progressive majority in Ohio and Virginia that signaled a rising tide across the nation in support of reproductive rights. It’s a roadmap to victory in next year’s elections, and we won’t falter in our fight for equality and social justice on every front.
We had other victories this year, but we also faced challenges that persist—and grow more dangerous. We’ll have a lot to do together in the New Year—but for now, please let me say a heartfelt “thank you” and wish you all the best this season. |
