California’s unique jungle primary system means the top two vote getters,
regardless of party, advance to the general. Now, the wealthy former
Dodger, Republican Steve Garvey, is rising in polls, and threatening to
keep Katie from advancing to the general election. Politico wrote, “many
chalk up [Garvey’s] early success to his name recognition—a byproduct of
appearing on national television almost every day for more than 15 years.”

I’m on Team Porter, because like you, I know Katie is the only candidate
in this race who will bring much needed change to Washington. She’s the
